How does a Dramatic Fanatic mystery party kit work?

1) Easy, Easy, Easy!
Parents, you won't believe how easy this party is to run - so we'll show you! As the "host" of the mystery, you'll simply read from your Host Cards which are fully scripted and presented in a simple, user-friendly format. The cards make running the party effortless and just as much fun for the adults as it is for the kids!

2) Party Invitations and Character Cards
Before the party, you'll decide which character each of your guests will play and then send them their Character Card. We also have party kit-specific invitations available for purchase.

3) Get Creative!
Include costume suggestions for your guests, decide on decorations and props and plan out a delicious menu of party foods that goes with your theme.

4) Opening Speeches
At the party, characters introduce themselves through an Opening Speech.

5) A Crime is Committed!
Once the crime is announced, kids are named as Suspects or Detectives and they act out super fun scenes loaded with clues, evidence, and details about "whodunit." Remember, all players are fully involved for the entire mystery!

6) Discuss Theories
As the game progresses, kids piece together information and discuss their theories as a group.

7) Evidence and Clues
Further evidence and clues help them zero in on the criminal.

8) Crime Reports
After narrowing down the suspects to a final few, everyone fills out a Crime Report where they officially declare who they think did it and why.

9) The Confession!
The Host announces who did it and the criminal confesses! Prizes can be given out for Most Dramatic, Best Costume, and Super Sleuth!

Most kits also give kids the chance to be extra creative by making up commercials, skits, and other dramatic activities.
